EDUCATOR

The CEO is a qualified teacher with a PGCE and MA from Goldsmiths College, The University of London. She has taught in secondary schools and tertiary colleges and held senior positions in the UK, Jamaica, Ghana, Dubai, and Malaysia.

As a Researcher at the London Metropolitan University, Mbeke investigated widening participation in higher education for African-Caribbean boys and Asian girls.

She has worked as an Educational Administrator in Ghana and Malaysia, and a Senior Education Advisor in Malaysia where I strengthened and grew the teacher and leadership capacity through coaching, mentoring, training, and facilitating action learning sets. She has improved classroom practices across 100 schools in the areas of observation, assessment, and student engagement.  The students’ experience of teaching and learning improved immensely. The lessons were proficient practical and engaging.

As the Middle School/Vice Principal at Ghana International School (GIS), she managed a department with students from 53 language sets alongside a team of local and expatriate employees.  She was wholly responsible for the budget, students, staff, the delivery of the Cambridge International curriculum and I introduced an exciting co-curriculum program to instill cultural pride and international confidence into the students and staff. Additionally, she coached and trained teachers, middle leaders, and senior leaders and collaborated with local schools and NGOs to further enhance the students’ experience and life skills. The result was a marked improvement in academic results, mental health and well-being, and self-evaluation skills of the students and staff.

She is an excellent communicator, team player, and leader who can present effectively and persuasively using all the major communication platforms. She has produced quality reports for the UN, ministerial departments, and other stakeholders
